Getting Started is the hardest part of doing anything. Ask anyone, moving from couch potato to working out (requires going to the gym).. well for some of us, it would be easier to just not do anything. But really it is not that hard. My favorite way to get started is to FEEL GOOD so think about some of the simple things you do that make you feel good. My favorite thing to do when I really don’t want to do something (like paying bills or cleaning my closet) is to put on some favorite music that instantly
makes me happy and inspired.And start singing if that makes you feel GOOD. So put on your favorite music, start singing, and begin with the first suggestion.
Loving Tip: You don’t have to do them all at once simply start with one a day, if that that makes you stressed (then you are on the right track). A spoonful of HUMOR makes the medicine go down. Simply spread them out to one a week. Just get started, NOW.
- Become aware. Start reading labels of the foods you are buying; reduce or eliminate the trans fat in your diet
- Start your day with 3 tsp of fresh lemon juice in warm water.
- Start drinking more water daily……….the goal is to move toward drinking 8 glasses of water per day.
- When you start getting stressed in your day, stop, and take some deep breaths.
- Slowly begin to reduce or (if you are fearless) eliminate white sugar and white flour from your diet
